July 24 Happy Birthday Amelia Earhart July 24, 1897
August 3 1929 Amelia Earhart returned back to New York and participated in teh national network broadcast to Richard Bird at the South Pole.
September 1934 Amelia Earhart gave speech in New York Herald Tribune two-day annual forum, where Purdue President Elliot met her and asked her to work for Purdue.
October 15 1928 Amelia Earhart landed at Bowman Field, N.J., completing her cross-country flight, first one made by a woman pilot
November 10 1936 Amelia Earhart wrote to Franklin Roosevelt presenting her World Flight plans and problems in details, asking him to provide Navy support and cooperation.
December 17 1933 Amelia Earhart gave a dedication speech for the opening of the new aviation hall at the Franklin Institute Museum, Philadelphia, then continued her lecture tour.
