How Can I Help
The Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity, honoring Amelia and her fellow women aviators through educational and interpretive exhibits, activities and events. The Birthplace museum allows visitors to see the woman behind the myth. It allows visitors to witness, first-hand, how one's aspirations can be attained through dedication, courage, and foresight.

For present and future generations, the Atchison community, the Ninety-Nines and other generous contributors have enabled the museum to make rapid restoration strides in recent years. The demand for funding for further improvement, maintenance, and collection enhancements, however, is never ending. While daily operating expenses are covered by visitor donations and proceeds from the Museum's gift shop, many improvements still need to be made on the birthplace of America's most famous female aviator. Most recently, generous gifts and donations were used to renovate the dinning room.
